An educational forum for Pennsylvania’s Congressional delegation and their staff members, together with Pennsylvania businesses.
A leader among states, Pennsylvania enacted the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard in 2004 and passed the Energy Savings mandate requiring energy conservation (Act 129) in 2008. These forward-thinking policies have already created thousands of new jobs for Pennsylvanians.
Join our webinar to learn how enacting a federal Renewable Energy Standard (RES) and Energy Efficiency Resources Standard (EERS) would help create more good-paying, non-exportable jobs for Pennsylvanians in short order. An RES and EERS would also save consumers money on their energy bills, reduce our dependence on imported oil, and cut pollution. We will provide an overview of these policy mechanisms and key provisions.
The webinar presenters come from companies who already have added jobs in Pennsylvania who will speak directly to the benefits that federal legislation would deliver. Presenters include:
• Peter Krajsa, AFC First Financial Corp. and Great Bear Financial
• Michael Perillo, Dynamic Solar, LLC
• Paul Spiegel, Practical Energy Solutions, and
• Eric Thumma, Iberdrola Renewables
Each presenter will talk briefly about their successes in Pennsylvania. We’ll then have Q&A, during which time you can submit questions.
There is no charge to participate, but pre-registration is required by Tuesday, April 5.
