Empowered Energy Aggregation Program

Based upon the overwhelming response and success of our partnership with National Energy, we are launching a new initiative to consolidate or aggregate energy bills to achieve even greater savings to the municipalities and businesses we serve.

I heard this can work for municipal governments in the same area, but also for businesses, schools and organizations like the American Legion.

Benefits

Working with the Empowered National Energy Consolidation Program in sourcing your commodity needs means immediate bottom line impact for your organization. Here's why:

•    Our partnership with National Energy puts you together with other businesses and municipalities, thus increasing the overall buying power of the group. We've been able to reduce customers' energy budgets by 5 to 10 percent, beyond their previous sourcing practices.

•    Our consolidation program creates budget certainty and is 100 percent bidder-neutral and we represent only the energy buyer.

•    Our energy specialists work closely with your energy managers to define your risk management strategy and energy product requirements. We follow-up by using proven technology and processes to facilitate aggressive competition which saves your organization valuable time and money.

•    With our consolidation program, energy contract variables that might otherwise cause confusion, or hinder a fair bid comparison are normalized.
•
•    Our consolidation program enables your organization to more easily comply with government purchasing regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements – again, saving both time and money.

Our Process

While energy brokers and exchanges leave you with only vague procurement advice, our consolidation program lays out a totally transparent step-by-step sourcing process that actually achieves best market price for your organization:

Phase One: Creating Groups

Some businesses, municipalities and schools participate in programs, but many don’t we can help you form a buyers group. Even if you do, we can often do better than what most groups can negotiate on their own.

Phase Two: Customer Assessment/Bidder Qualification

We review your historic and projected electricity and/or natural gas usage requirements, budget parameters as well as your current commodity contract, and its terms, conditions and pricing. In preparation for bidding, we prepare a detailed Request for Quotation based on your needs. We then arrive at best terms and conditions by collaboratively and carefully reviewing the RFQ with a comprehensive list of highly qualified energy suppliers.

Phase Three: Empowered National Energy Analysis

Our analysis phase provides customers with a comprehensive, understandable summary of their own energy marketplace. It captures and compares the regional pricing of customers; validates paper bids specific to customer accounts; assesses bidder competitiveness and monitors market indices.

Phase Four: Achieving Best Market Price.

The activities described in Phases One and Two (above) result in energy providers competing for your business.
The results are submitted to the customer with a recommendation that represents best market price combined with best terms and conditions. A contract is then awarded to the most competitive bidder.

Phase Five: Ongoing Contract Management

Our consolidation and program management stays with you long after your energy contracts have been awarded. We carefully audit for contract compliance to assure that the awarded bidder and negotiated best market price are, in fact, implemented. Then we continue to monitor market indices and marketplace price feedback to best position your organization for optimum contract renewals.
