The purpose of AFG is to enhance through financial assistance the safety of the public and firefighters regarding fire and fire-related hazards. FEMA strives to provide clear guidance and application tools to assist applicants. This package provides an overview of AFG, the grant application information, and an explanation of FEMA requirements for a successful grant request.
